Star Software Loan Tracker is designed to provide a method to track principal and interest payments, late fees, irregular payment amounts, and adjustments to the principal balance. Interest rates, insurance charges, and property tax payments can be changed as desired. Scheduled payments can be weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual and interest can be based on or days per year.

I was a huge fan of MS Money and hung on to the bitter end, until my old computer crashed and I could no longer run the old Money program. So I tried this app as a replacement and it really is lacking in a few features. I can't stand how the cleared transactions won't disappear unless I'm missing a setting but settings are very limited. There's no sorting in alpha or numerical order when searching, you have to scroll.
You can't enter a beginning balance to try to balance back to. I also had the same experience where I purchase the upgrade but there was no difference in features, just no more ads. It's really great for keeping a running total of your money and having it with you when shopping and it is very easy to enter transactions.
Don't purchase it for a robust checkbook system but definitely better than none at all. Bummed Jan 31, By Maddidogdogs. I exported all my information via email but am not able to find out how to import it onto my new device. I decided to pay for the upgrade to see if that would help and I can't find anything that makes it worth the money.
There doesn't seem to be any additional features aside from the fact you don't have to see ads when you open the app. I have also tried to contact the company for assistance in case I'm missing something but I cannot get a reply. I have had problems with the math got screwed up and everything was incorrect. They also need to add options like taking pictures of receipts and saving them to that transaction. They should also give you the option to list and price every item so each item could be saved and calculated.

It started out great. It did everything you said it would. Then in March it started going crazy. First everytime I switched an entry to cleared it would duplicate the entry instead of clear it.
Then it started to duplicate my monthly recurring charges. Then it deleted some deposits and doubled others. Then when my balance was way off and I went back to look at previous months I saw that the app has quadrupled or more all of my recurring charges-FROM THE PAST- i know it just happened as I balance my account weekly and it always balances before this. I stopped using it but left it active to see what would happen. Day two the app duplicated my deposits from the first of May.
Day four it duplicated them yet again. Your app. Needless to say I am deleting its immediately ans have already cancelled my subscription. If you are Looking for a checkbook app do yourself a favor and find a better one than this piece of crap.

They even gave me a script on how I can refunded for my overdraft fee! I didn't even know you could do that. Also I got tips on how to improve my credit rather than just getting the report itself. I originally just got Truebill to cancel all my subscriptions but it's proved to help out so much more than expected.

I had a few regular non-payroll income events that I needed to help it understand, and a handful of transactions to assign to a category, but the vast majority of the heavy lifting was handled by the app.
As a result, I have the most accurate view of my finances any app has been able to provide. It also offers some powerful planning, cost-cutting, and savings features. The interface is intuitive, and the feature profile is rich. I have banking and investment accounts across several institutions and it had no problem establishing reliable connections with any of them, including other app-based investment accounts.
